The top South Indian celebrities are listed by IIHB

The most popular celebrity in South India is now Suriya. In Tollywood, Allu Arjun was at the top. Suriya was No. 1 in Kollywood, and Vijay was No. 2. According to research, Mollywood and Sandalwood's top actors are Dulquer Salmaan and Fahadh Faasil.

The IIHB recently published the TIARA South Research Report 2023, the results of a study on human brands in the southern states of India that included a sample size of 5246 respondents from the four southern states. The report features 18 South Indian celebrities, including 6 each from Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, and Sandalwood. Fieldwork for the report was completed in November and December 2022.

Suriya outperformed the rest of the field on Trustworthy, earning an impressive TIARA score of 84. Tollywood's top performers were Allu Arjun and Vijay Devarakonda, Kollywood's were Vijay and Sivakarthikeyn, and Mollywood and Sandalwood's were FahadhFaasiland KicchaSudeep.

On Most Identified With, Suriya once again topped the list. His 84 outperformed Tollywood's top stars Prabhas (79), Ram Charan (74), Vijay (79) and Vijay Setupathi (74). (77). Mollywood and Sandalwood were led by Prithviraj (72) and Yash (76).

Suriya won the title of South India's Most Attractive actor with an overall score of 85, beating out Allu Arjun (80) and Vijay Devarakonda (72). Vijay topped Kollywood, while Dulquer Salmaan took first place in the remaining two states.

Suriya once again won the most prestigious contest in South India with a score of 86. In Tollywood, Mahesh Babu (age 78) and Junior NTR (age 75) were in the lead, while in Kollywood, Ajith (age 78) and Sivakarthikeyn (age 76) occupied the top two spots. In Mollywood and Sandalwood, Yash (77), was in the lead, and KicchaSudeep (69), was in second. With a score of 81, Suriya maintained his lead as South India's Most Appealing, while Prabhas, Vijay, and Dulquer topped Tollywood, Kollywood, and the final two states.

"Suriya is comparable to the South's Colossus. His grades surpass those of all of his peers and contemporaries. According to most research parameters, none of the other Southern stars even come close to matching Suriya, according to Dr. Sandeep Goyal, Chief Mentor of IIHB.

Every two years, IIHB conducts a nationwide survey of celebrities that includes more than 60,000 participants. The study, known as TIARA (Trust, Identify, Attractive, Respect, Appeal), has never been conducted with a focus solely on South India.

Only male stars from the South are examined in the current study. Since it tends to skew comparisons and prevents apples from being compared to apples, we have not included the women, continues Dr. Goyal.

Amitabh Bachchan was rated as the Most Trusted Person in India by the TIARA survey. India's Most Identified With was Ayushmann Khurrana. The winner of India's Most Attractive was Alia Bhatt. While Akshay Kumar was named India's Most Appealing, Mr. Bachchan was once again ranked first on India's Most Respected list.

Virat Kohli was rated as India's Most Trendy and Most Handsome in the same report, while Hardik Pandya was rated as India's Most Controversial.

The Indian Institute of Human Brands is the leading organisation that investigates, investigates, analyses, and ranks celebrities in a variety of genres, including cricket, sports, and movies.

Interestingly, success, sincerity, being adored by everyone, wealth, dependability, and high performance are the qualities that the South values the most. Only in Mollywood does Sincerity outweigh Success as a motivator.

In the latter part of the year, IIHB will publish a study on female stars that is South-centric.
