Global communications platform Sinch AB today announced the appointment of Aditya Dhruva as Managing Director for its India business. Operating out of Bengaluru, Dhruva will report directly to Wendy Johnstone, Executive Vice President, APAC, and lead Sinch’s strategic growth trajectory across the country.

Dhruva brings over 26 years of leadership experience spanning cloud communications, CPaaS, Artificial Intelligence, and SaaS. Prior to joining Sinch, he served as Managing Director of Satisfi Labs India following its acquisition of Factoreal Systems—an AI-powered fan engagement platform he founded and successfully scaled.

Accelerating AI-Driven Omnichannel Engagement in India

The strategic appointment comes at a crucial transition point for Indian enterprises moving away from traditional, one-way transactional notifications toward rich, conversational AI interactions across channels like WhatsApp, RCS, email, and voice.

"India is one of our most strategic markets, and as AI reshapes how brands connect with their customers, the opportunity here is enormous," said Wendy Johnstone, Executive Vice President, APAC at Sinch. "Aditya’s rare blend of entrepreneurial drive, product leadership, and deep expertise in communications and AI makes him ideally placed to deepen our relationships with enterprise customers and partners."

Dhruva previously held key leadership roles across prominent tech ecosystems, serving as Executive Vice President & CTO at Comviva (Tech Mahindra Group)—where he launched the award-winning Ngage CPaaS platform—alongside product management roles at Cisco and Nokia.

Sinch's Vision to Lead India's Next Era of Smart Enterprise Messaging

Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Dhruva highlighted India’s position as a dynamic hub for digital customer communication.

"Enterprises here are moving quickly from one-way messaging to rich, conversational and AI-powered engagement across channels," noted Aditya Dhruva, Managing Director, Sinch India. "With its scale, trusted infrastructure, and pace of innovation, Sinch is exceptionally well placed to lead that shift. I look forward to working with our customers, partners, and talented team to build stronger customer relationships and accelerate growth."

With Dhruva at the helm, Sinch aims to reinforce its market position by equipping Indian businesses to deliver smarter, humanized, and highly scalable customer interactions across all digital touchpoints.
