Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s recent IPL win might have been won on the cricket pitch but the celebrations soon spilt over to social media feeds as brands raced to join the conversation.
Brands across categories from fashion and food delivery to e-commerce and technology posted congratulatory posts, witty creatives and real-time marketing campaigns capitalising on one of Indian sport’s biggest moments, moments after star batter Virat Kohli struck the winning runs.
PUMA India was among the most active participants, marking its long-standing association with Kohli with a series of posts celebrating the cricketer’s achievement and RCB’s success.
