Parle Retains India’s Most Chosen FMCG Brand Spot For 14th Year
Parle retained India’s Most Chosen In-Home FMCG Brand title for the 14th year, recording 8.5 billion consumer choices in 2025.
In 2025, Indian households picked Parle products 8.5 billion times, enabling the company to maintain its position as India’s Most Chosen In-Home FMCG Brand for the 14th consecutive year, as per the Brand Footprint India 2026 report by Worldpanel by Numerator.
That amounts to about 23 million consumer choices a day, or more than 250 choices every second.

8.5 Billion Consumer Choices:
The report measures brand choice in terms of Consumer Reach Points (CRPs), which is the number of households in a market times the market share and the number of times a brand is purchased during the year.
In India, Parle clocked 8.5 billion CRPs, highest for any FMCG brand in the country. The report also pointed out that the CRPs of Parle in India were higher than the CRPs of some of the world’s most chosen FMCG brands across the markets covered in the study.
“This recognition is proof of the trust that consumers have reposed in the brand across generations,” says Mayank Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, Parle Products.
“The company’s continued reach is a combination of product quality and value, an extensive distribution network and accessible pricing,” he said, adding that Parle’s evolving portfolio is in line with changing consumer preferences.

Parle’s Wide Distribution Network:
Parle Products’ portfolio comprises brands such as Parle-G, Monaco and Melody. The company said it has more than 130 manufacturing units, over 7,000 distributors and presence across around 75 lakh retail outlets.
The Brand Footprint report has been released in India since 2013 and is now in its 14th edition. It uses CRPs to estimate the frequency of household purchases of FMCG brands using brand reach and purchase frequency.
