OpenAI Launches ChatGPT for Small Businesses

OpenAI has launched ‘ChatGPT for Small Businesses’ programme to help entrepreneurs and small businesses boost productivity, automate repetitive tasks and scale up their operations with generative and agentic AI.

The initiative is aimed at lean teams managing multiple business functions with limited resources, positioning ChatGPT as a resource to extend workforce capacity across functions such as sales, finance, operations and marketing.

The program will include virtual, hands-on training sessions hosted by Open AI to demonstrate practical use cases of ChatGPT Work across accounting, marketing and e-commerce workflows. To help break down the barriers to AI adoption, we will be running partner-led webinars and live Q&A sessions.

AI Adoption:

OpenAI is now taking its OpenAI Academy beyond its virtual learning program to offer Small Business AI Academies around the country. The workshops build on the company’s previous Small Business AI Jams, where OpenAI said 78% of participants built working AI-powered workflows in a single day.

As part of the push to increase adoption, the company is also launching a centralised resource hub that will include interactive workflow guides, customer case studies and short-form video tutorials to help businesses embed AI into everyday operations.

OpenAI is also deepening integrations into software platforms such as Shopify, Intuit, Dropbox, Slack, Atlassian and Wix to bolster ChatGPT’s business ecosystem. The integrations are meant to enable companies to embed AI into their existing workflows, automating administrative tasks and increasing operational efficiency.

The program is designed to help small businesses leverage AI more effectively and to gather user feedback to guide future product development and improve ChatGPT’s capabilities for business users, the company said.
