Meta will terminate 10,000 more workers.

According to reports, Facebook parent company Meta indicated it will eliminate 10,000 workers.

The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, reportedly told employees in a message, "We intend to reduce our team size by about 10,000 individuals and to close about 5,000 more open roles that we haven't yet hired."

There is no getting around the fact that this will be difficult, added Zuckerberg.

The business announced on Tuesday that it will make additional layoffs to its IT departments in late April and lower the number of its recruiting staff.

Only four months after terminating 11,000 employees, the IT behemoth announced its most recent wave of layoffs.

According to reports, Zuckerberg's efforts to make 2023 the "Year of Efficiency" by cutting costs by $5 billion to between $89 billion and $95 billion are being underlined by this action.
