KFC India has expanded its limited time menu with the launch of Double Chicken Dynamite, a new offering that combines crispy chicken and Korean noodles in a single product as the quick service restaurant chain continues to experiment with unconventional flavour combinations.

Made with two crispy Zinger fillets, the Double Chicken Dynamite is stacked with Korean noodles, spicy mayonnaise and cheese, and topped off with a signature seasoning blend for a mix of crunchy textures and bold flavours.

The launch aligns with KFC India’s strategy to roll out limited edition menu innovations that address evolving consumer preferences and the increasing demand for globally inspired flavours.

Commenting on the launch, Suhayl Limbada, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC India and Partner Countries, said that the product was inspired by India’s willingness to try unconventional food combinations.

"India has always had an appetite for unconventional food combinations that surprise people at first and then quickly become favourites. That openness to experimentation is what makes the country's food culture so exciting," he said.

"Double Chicken Dynamite taps into that spirit. Crispy chicken and noodles are not a pairing people immediately expect, but once you try it, the combination simply works. With this campaign, we wanted to celebrate that sense of fun and unpredictability while staying true to KFC's signature flavour and personality," Limbada added.

KFC India has launched a new advertising campaign to support the launch, based on the concept of unlikely pairings that work surprisingly well together.

The campaign film shows two Indians and a Korean man who are inseparable in a range of funny everyday situations, including sharing an office chair, a barber shop and a changing room. The story wraps up at a KFC restaurant, where the odd pairing of the trio is explained by the introduction of the Double Chicken Dynamite, which is a meal combining fried chicken and Korean noodles.

The campaign uses humour and over-the-top storytelling to drive home the point that opposites often make the best couple.

Commenting on the campaign, Anusheela Saha, Head of Creative, McCANN (Pod 2), said the product itself inspired the creative direction.

"When you place Korean noodles between two crispy chicken fillets, you have a product that's delightfully unexpected. The campaign takes inspiration from that idea and builds an entire world around unusual pairings that somehow make complete sense," she said.
