JioStar Launches ‘Humara Long Distance Love’ Campaign for Premier League 2026/27

JioStar, the official broadcast and digital partner for the Premier League in India, has announced its campaign for 2026/27 season, ‘Humara Long Distance Love’ with actor Tiger Shroff and cricketers Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag.

The campaign likens the loyalty of Indian football fans who support clubs thousands of kilometres away to long-distance relationships. It’s the late-night kick-offs, the group-chat debates, the celebrations and the heartbreak that comes with being a Premier League fan in India.

The campaign includes three films, each of which shows a celebrity talking about a long distance love affair, only for it to be revealed that their affection is actually for their football club.

Three Stories, One Football Love:

In ‘The Workout’, Tiger Shroff vents out his frustration in a high intensity gym session before unveiling a Manchester United jersey and reiterating his support for the club.

“The Date” follows Riyan Parag as he prepares for what he believes is a romantic date, only to have his friends turn up in their Manchester United jerseys to watch the season opener.

Sanju Samson, a Liverpool fan, writes about a long-distance relationship while travelling before his hotel room fills with friends in Liverpool jerseys for the match in ‘The Long Wait’.

The campaign portrays football fandom as a relationship of commitment, sacrifice and emotional investment, regardless of distance or the performance of the club.

The Premier League 2026/27 season will run from August 22, 2026 to May 30, 2027. Arsenal begin the season as champions, with nine clubs having changed their managers over the summer transfer window.

All 380 matches of the season will be available live and exclusively in India on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.
