Himalaya BabyCare Launches ‘Matchy Matchy pH’ Campaign for pH-Balanced Skincare
Himalaya BabyCare has launched its ‘Matchy Matchy pH’ campaign to promote pH-balanced skincare for babies through its Gentle Range
Himalaya BabyCare has launched a new campaign, ‘Matchy Matchy pH’ to emphasise the significance of preserving the natural pH balance of a baby's delicate skin and to promote its pH 5.5 Gentle Range of baby care products.
The campaign is centred around a digital film that emphasises the need for pH-balanced skincare to protect a baby’s skin barrier and to lock in moisture. It includes Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo, Gentle Baby Wash, Gentle Baby Lotion and Gentle Baby Cream, which the company claims are made to match the natural pH of a baby’s skin.
The film captures a relatable parenting moment where a mother dresses her baby in a matching outfit and then introduces another important “match” - the skin’s natural pH. The campaign’s tagline is “Matchy Matchy pH” and aims to inspire parents to view pH-balanced skincare as an essential part of their baby’s daily routine.

The campaign is based on the insight that a baby’s skin is more delicate than an adult’s and seeks to raise awareness of the need for products that will help to support the skin’s natural protective barrier.
“Through this campaign we look to help parents make informed choices for their children’s skincare needs,” says Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness.
"At Himalaya BabyCare, we strive to make baby care hassle-free and worry-free by helping parents understand how simple, informed choices can make a meaningful difference to their baby's skin health," he said.

"Parents thoughtfully consider every choice they make for their babies, and maintaining the skin's natural pH is that important choice for healthy infant skin. Through the 'Matchy Matchy pH' campaign, we aim to create awareness about the importance of pH-balanced skincare in helping protect a baby's delicate skin barrier while providing gentle, safe and effective care that parents can trust every day," he added.
The campaign highlights the Himalaya BabyCare pH 5.5 Gentle Range, which the company says is formulated to support the skin’s natural pH, protect the skin barrier and lock in moisture for soft, healthy looking skin.
The campaign will run across digital and social media by Himalaya BabyCare supported with outreach initiatives in regional languages. The multilingual campaign is available in Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Odia and Assamese and aims to make conversations around gentle baby skincare more accessible to families across India.
