The announcement was made during a send-off ceremony held on June 30, 2024, in New Delhi, attended by dignitaries including PT Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, and Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, along with senior delegates from Herbalife India.
