Britannia Appoints Siddharth Parakh as Head of Strategy & Business Development

FMCG major Britannia Industries has appointed Siddharth Parakh as the Head of Strategy & Business Development, effective August 3, 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership team to support its future growth initiatives.

The appointment was recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approved by the company’s Board of Directors by way of a circular resolution on August 2.

The appointment was announced by Britannia in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations.

Parakh has more than 13 years of experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments and capital allocation.

Leadership Profile:

Prior to Britannia, he spent the last four and a half years in the Group CFO and Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons where he was working on strategic initiatives, investments and M&A across the Tata Group.

Previously he was an Assistant Vice President with Edelweiss (now Nuvama) in the investment banking team advising Indian and global clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and fundraising across sectors including consumer, technology, healthcare and new age businesses.

He also worked in corporate finance and marquee transactions at MAPE Advisory Group, Grant Thornton and PwC.

As per the regulatory filing, Parakh has been conferred with the Economic Times Young Leader Award.

By profession, he is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He has also done the Advanced International Finance Program at Cornell University, New York.

Parakh will join Britannia as a full-time employee and will head the company's strategy and business development function effective August 3, 2026.
