Zomato’s Hyperpure Speeds Up Deliveries
Zomato's Hyperpure speeds up deliveries with a new express service.
Zomato’s B2B supply arm, Hyperpure, is ramping up its delivery service. The company has introduced a new express delivery option that promises to deliver products to restaurants and other businesses within 4 hours.
This new service, available from 8 AM to 4 PM, will be offered alongside Hyperpure’s standard next-day delivery. While the express delivery is faster, it comes at a premium price.
Hyperpure has been growing rapidly and has become a significant contributor to Zomato’s overall revenue. In the second quarter of the current fiscal year, Hyperpure’s revenue doubled compared to the same period last year.
This latest move by Hyperpure aligns with the increasing demand for faster delivery in the food service industry. By offering quicker delivery times, Hyperpure aims to gain a competitive edge and attract more customers.
However, the quick commerce space is becoming increasingly competitive, with several players vying for market share. PhonePe, for instance, recently launched its own quick delivery service, Pincode.
Zomato’s recent QIP will provide additional funds to fuel its growth initiatives, including investments in Hyperpure and other strategic ventures.
