Swiggy’s 99 Store Drives Growth As 1 In 7 Orders Comes Through Platform
Swiggy’s 99 Store now drives one in seven food orders, with strong growth across QSR, regional and premium restaurant brands.
Swiggy’s 99 Store, which focuses on affordability, has proved to be a key growth driver of its food delivery business with one in every seven food orders being placed thru the offering.
Launched in July 2025, 99 Store has expanded to over 500 cities and has over 1.8 lakh restaurant partners. The platform offers curated meals and food items at ₹49, ₹79 and ₹99 and free delivery on orders above ₹49.
Affordable Meals Gain Traction:
The offering is targeted at value-conscious consumers across Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities, bringing together established QSR chains and local restaurants.
Customers can order from brands including Burger King, McDonald’s, KFC, Domino’s Pizza and Taco Bell, as well as regional favourites. Popular categories include bowls and thalis, South Indian breakfast, burgers, pizzas, beverages, chaats and snacks.
Swiggy said orders per month thru 99 Store have jumped 2.4 times in the past year. The platform has helped attract new customers, increase order frequency and improve retention, the company said.
"99 Store was built for affordability-first consumers and has helped transform food delivery from an occasional purchase to a more regular habit for some customers," said Sidharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace.
QSR Brands See Stronger Volumes:
Restaurant partners have also seen significant growth thru the platform.
Domino’s said it touched over 273,000 unique customers in Bengaluru thru 99 Store in a period of nine months, with item volumes nearly doubling in first and second halves of the period.
Taco Bell experienced a 295% increase in item sales between the two halves of its first year on 99 Store in Bengaluru. Its distinctive customer base grew from over 11,000 to over 35,000.
KFC had served about 1.17 lakh unique customers across 107 Bengaluru outlets and item sales were almost three times in the second half as compared to the first half.
