Sony MAX will celebrate 25 years of Aamir Khan Productions with a special showcase of iconic films and an exclusive brand film featuring Aamir Khan.

Sony MAX has announced a special programming event to mark 25 years of Aamir Khan Productions, celebrating the contribution of the production house to Indian cinema, with a curated showcase of some of its most acclaimed films.
The celebration on June 28, 2026, will showcase a day-long line-up of films produced by Aamir Khan Productions including Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Secret Superstar and Sitaare Zameen Par. An initiative to celebrate the storytelling legacy of a banner, which has delivered several socially-relevant and critically-acclaimed films in the last two-and-a-half decades.
The alliance also merges two successful entertainment brands- Sony MAX with its broad movie programming and Aamir Khan Productions that has created a space for itself in the world of purpose-driven storytelling and impactful cinema.
Legacy Celebration:
To mark the occasion, Sony MAX has unveiled a new brand film titled Match Made in Heaven featuring Aamir Khan. The film is tailor-made for Sony MAX viewers and delves into the connection between the actor-producer's commitment to meaningful storytelling and the channel's long association with cinematic entertainment.
The broadcaster said the campaign is in sync with its philosophy of “Deewana Bana De” which means strengthening the emotional connect between audiences, films and iconic stars.
