Pears Launches 'Farak Clear Hai' Campaign Showcasing Its Transparent Soap-Making Process

Hindustan Unilever’s Pears has launched its new television campaign, ‘Farak Clear Hai’, that takes consumers behind the scenes of how its iconic transparent soap bar is made.

TBWA\Lintas has created a campaign that looks at the manufacturing process of Pears, showing the craftsmanship and precision that goes into making the company's signature transparent soap. The film is now live on TV and Pears’ digital platforms.

The campaign immerses the audience in the factory, tracking the soap from a glycerin-rich liquid to a finished transparent bar. It shows every step of the process, from pouring, to moulding, to cutting and quality inspection, while highlighting the product’s formulation, made with 98% pure plant-based glycerin.

Craftsmanship Revealed:

The campaign is not only about the end product but is about the processes and expertise that have helped define the Pears brand over the years. The brand is opening the doors of its manufacturing unit to improve the transparency and quality of its soap bar.

Commenting on the campaign, Abhinav Ravikumar, CMO – Personal Care, Hindustan Unilever, said Pears has long been recognised for the transparency of its iconic soap bar, with years of expertise behind its distinctive appearance.

"Pears has always been recognised for the transparency of its iconic bar. Behind that distinctive form lies a highly considered process, refined through generations of expertise," he said.

"With the Factory Film, we wanted to make that process visible and allow consumers to see the care, precision and consistency behind every Pears bar. The film brings to life how our commitment to quality and craftsmanship has created a product that has helped make Pears an iconic, loved brand for over two centuries," Ravikumar added.

Making Transparency:

Sharing the creative approach behind the campaign, Sarvesh Raikar, President – Creative, TBWA\Lintas, said the brand's transparent amber soap has always been its strongest and most recognisable asset.

"The transparent amber bar has always been Pears' most powerful and distinctive asset. Rather than simply telling consumers what makes it different, we wanted to take them to where that difference is created," he said.

Raikar added that by taking viewers inside the factory, the film turns the product's transparency into the central creative idea, allowing consumers to witness the making of the soap rather than simply hearing about its qualities.

With 'Farak Clear Hai', Pears aims to reinforce its legacy of quality and craftsmanship while highlighting the manufacturing process behind one of its most recognisable products.
