Dhan Launches ‘Dhan Ki Bhasha’ Campaign Celebrating India’s Relationship with Money

Investment platform Dhan has launched its new digital-first campaign, Dhan Ki Bhasha – The Language of Money, that explores the role of money in everyday life, and demonstrates the way financial conversations connect people across generations, cultures and regions in India.

This campaign is not about the usual investing and trading themes but the emotional and cultural meaning of money. It captures moments like receiving shagun envelopes, getting first salary, family talks on savings and talks on future financial aspirations.

By using these everyday experiences, the campaign aims to show money as more than a financial tool, but as a shared language that shapes milestones, relationships and aspirations across different stages of life.

Cultural Connect:

The company says the campaign has been based on insights from more than 50,000 conversations with traders and investors in 15 states over the past five years. These interactions helped build the campaign narrative around how people with different backgrounds think, talk and relate to money in their everyday lives.

The digital-first drive also celebrates India’s linguistic and cultural diversity, showing money as a unifying thread that cuts across regional boundaries, languages and traditions. Instead of just pushing financial products or investment opportunities, the campaign takes a step back to look at the bigger picture of money in our lives, and how it influences our personal stories and family conversations.

Through Dhan Ki Bhasha – The Language of Money, Dhan hopes to build a deeper emotional connect with audiences by mirroring the myriad ways in which money is understood, discussed and valued across India. “Languages and customs may be different, but the hopes and feelings that money brings are something everyone can identify with,” the campaign says.
