Muzz India Takes Its Message to the Streets of Mumbai with a Witty New Campaign on Being Single

Mumbai, October 30, 2026: Muzz, the world’s largest Muslim marriage app, has launched a new social media campaign across India, alongside an outdoor campaign in Mumbai, using humour, cultural references and a relatable social sentiment to spark conversations around being single and the expectations surrounding marriage.

At the heart of the campaign is the line, “Single rehna Salman Bhai par jachta hai, aap par nahi”- a playful reference to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan that taps into a sentiment familiar to many Indians. While being single may be celebrated in popular culture, the pressure to find a life partner can feel very different in everyday life, particularly in a society where marriage often becomes a subject of family conversations and social expectations.

The campaign is being rolled out across Muzz’s social media platforms in India, with outdoor advertising currently running in Mumbai.

Moving beyond conventional app advertising, Muzz uses an instantly recognisable cultural reference to address a subject that resonates across generations. The outdoor campaign brings this message to Mumbai’s streets, while the social media campaign extends the conversation to audiences across India.

Commenting on the campaign, Shahzad Younas, Founder & CEO, Muzz, said, “The journey to finding a life partner can come with a lot of expectations, opinions and, sometimes, pressure. At Muzz, we believe that finding someone should be about making a meaningful connection on your own terms, while staying true to your faith and values. With this campaign, we wanted to use humour and a familiar cultural reference to start a conversation that people can relate to. Our aim is to make the journey to marriage feel more approachable and help people discover a platform built around what they are genuinely looking for.”

With a global community of 20 million users and more than 800,000 marriages facilitated, Muzz has built its proposition around helping Muslims find a life partner with shared faith, values and serious relationship intentions.

The campaign builds on Muzz’s broader approach to making Muslim matchmaking more relevant to the realities of modern life. The platform seeks to bridge the gap between conventional matrimonial processes and mainstream dating apps by giving users greater agency in finding a partner while recognising the importance of faith, family and cultural context.

For Muzz, the campaign also reflects its approach to connecting with audiences through locally relevant communication. Having witnessed organic adoption in India even before establishing a formal local presence, the platform is now building on that connection through campaigns that reflect the conversations, cultural references and relationship expectations familiar to Indian audiences.

By combining a distinctly Indian cultural reference with the reach of a globally established platform, Muzz aims to make its message clear: finding a life partner is a personal journey, and it should begin with the individual.
