Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced a partnership with Google Gemini for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), incorporating Google’s generative AI platform into the quiz show’s ecosystem to boost audience engagement and promote knowledge-based interactions.

As part of the collaboration, Google Gemini will be an interactive knowledge companion across Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, integrated into the KBC experience, from registration to general knowledge preparation.

The integration is designed to complement the show’s long-standing focus on learning and knowledge, by providing viewers with AI-powered assistance throughout their KBC journey, according to SPNI.

Interactive Learning:

Information on KBC registration, eligibility criteria and how to participate is available to users via the Google Gemini app. The companies also plan to introduce interactive challenges which will enable audiences to test and enhance their general knowledge in a variety of topics.

Our partnership with Google Gemini combines KBC’s legacy and the strength of Google Gemini’s artificial intelligence for households across India. “This collaboration adds a new level of innovation within the content of the show and creates newer ways for audiences to engage with the show,” he said.
