Jio Haptik Launches SOLO AI Platform for Solopreneurs and Small Businesses
Jio Haptik has launched SOLO, an AI-native platform designed to help solopreneurs and small businesses automate marketing, sales and customer support, with plans to empower over two million businesses in three years.
Jio Haptik, a Reliance Jio-backed conversational AI company, has launched SOLO, an AI-native growth platform to help solopreneurs and small businesses automate marketing, sales and customer support. The company also said it aims to empower over 2 million solopreneurs and small businesses in India over the next three years.
The platform targets India’s vast base of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), many of which are run by entrepreneurs who look after all aspects of their business. SOLO is built for home bakers, boutique owners, coaches, clinics, salons, freelancers, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) sellers. It automates content creation, customer engagement, lead generation, sales, and support, so entrepreneurs can focus on growing their businesses.

AI for Entrepreneurs:
Announcing the launch, Ahshad Jussawala, Chief Executive Officer of Jio Haptik, said artificial intelligence has the potential to create a level playing field for entrepreneurs. "For years, large businesses have had the advantage of dedicated teams across marketing, sales and customer support, while smaller businesses have had to stretch every resource to keep up. We believe Accessible AI and AI Teams can change that equation at scale,” he said.
Jussawala said affordable digital connectivity has led to a boom in entrepreneurship over the last decade, and AI-powered teams could be the next big technology shift for India’s small business ecosystem.
With SOLO, we are giving every entrepreneur an intelligent growth team- one that works around the clock to help them compete, grow and build with confidence. “Our aspiration is to empower over two million solopreneurs and small businesses in the next three years,” he said.

An AI Business Team:
Unlike conventional AI assistants that respond only to prompts, SOLO has been developed as an autonomous AI Business Team capable of proactively understanding a business and creating growth strategies.
The platform introduces two AI teammates- Tara, which manages marketing planning and execution, and Ved, which handles sales and customer support. Together, they create demand, engage customers and drive sales while allowing business owners to review and approve actions before they are shared with customers.
Saumil Shah, Chief Technology Officer at Jio Haptik, said the future of AI lies in systems that can take ownership of meaningful work rather than simply responding to requests.
"With SOLO, we've combined autonomous planning, execution and continuous learning into an AI business team designed specifically for entrepreneurs," he said.
