Gurugram, 25 September 2026: Brightsun Travel celebrated World Tourism Day through an employee initiative that brought together India’s cultural heritage, regional flavours and lesser-known destinations. Held at the company’s Gurugram office in August, the celebration encouraged employees to share the stories, traditions and places that have shaped their roots, highlighting the diversity that continues to make India a compelling destination for travellers.
Employees presented hidden travel gems from their home states, drawing attention to destinations of cultural, natural and local significance that are often overlooked by mainstream itineraries. Teams also showcased signature regional dishes through food stalls, while colleagues wore traditional attire representing their home states. The initiative created an opportunity for employees to discover the richness of India through one another’s experiences and celebrate the distinctive character of the country’s many regions.
