Metro Brands Ltd has appointed Atul Sinha as President – Core Business, reinforcing its leadership team as the footwear retailer sharpens its focus on expanding its flagship brands, Metro and Mochi.

Sinha has more than two decades of experience in retail, consumer goods and brand management. He has experience in sales, merchandising, category management, marketing, business strategy and omnichannel operations.

In his new role, Sinha will be responsible for strategy and growth initiatives for the Metro and Mochi stores and will focus on strengthening brand positioning, driving consumer engagement and enhancing operational performance across channels.

Leadership Strengthening:

Announcing the appointment, Nissan Joseph, CEO of Metro Brands Ltd, said, “Atul brings a unique blend of expertise across brand building, merchandising, retail operations and customer experience. Before joining Metro Brands, Sinha was the Chief Operating Officer at CaratLane and was responsible for many critical functions like sales, merchandising, category management, marketing and international business operations. During his career he has gained extensive experience in scaling consumer businesses and driving growth with customer centric strategies.

The appointment comes as Metro Brands continues to build its leadership bench and invest in the growth of its core footwear portfolio with a focus on consumer experience, operational excellence and omnichannel expansion.
