Yakult Unveils New Mango Campaign With Taapsee Pannu
Yakult Danone India launches a new campaign with Taapsee Pannu to promote the refreshed Yakult Light Mango Flavour.
Yakult Danone India has launched a new TVC with brand ambassador Taapsee Pannu to promote the new taste of its probiotic drink Yakult Light Mango Flavour.
The company is launching a new and improved version of the product, reformulated with consumer feedback to deliver a bolder mango taste, while still providing the probiotic benefits.
The TV commercial promotes the improved taste of the drink and emphasises its gut health benefits, positioning it as a low-calorie probiotic drink for everyday drinking.
Yakult Light Mango Flavour has 6.5 billion live Lactobacillus paracasei Shirota (LcS) probiotic bacteria as well as vitamins D and E, the company said. And it is also low in calories and sugar and has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Commenting on the launch, Eiji Amano, Managing Director, Yakult Danone India said, “Innovation continues to be the core of our mission of promoting health through probiotics.
“Innovation is our hallmark and the core of Yakult’s mission to contribute to people’s health through probiotics. Yakult Mango Flavour was launched in 2024 specially catering to Indian taste buds. “We have also enhanced its flavour based on consumers’ feedback to provide a richer and more enjoyable taste,” he said.
The updated taste was preferred by over 80 percent of the respondents, as per consumer research, Amano added. "The launch of new Yakult Light Mango variant, supported by our new commercial with Taapsee Pannu, reflects our continued focus on blending scientific excellence with consumer preferences. “We are dedicated to educating consumers on gut health and getting scientifically proven probiotics into the daily lives of more Indian families,” he said.

Since the product was launched in 2024, the company has modified the recipe based on feedback received from consumers about the product.
