WhatsApp to Introduce Longer Status Videos and Note-Taking Feature

WhatsApp is enhancing its Status functionality with a new feature currently in its beta program. According to WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp beta for Android update 2.24.7.6 now allows users to share videos up to one minute long in their status updates.

iPhone users will also benefit from this update with the WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.10.10.74. Previously, users were limited to sharing 30-second videos in their status. This extension aims to provide users with greater flexibility for sharing longer stories.

In addition, WhatsApp is developing a quick note-taking feature, allowing users to attach personalized notes to their contacts. This feature, first seen in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.17, will enable users to add messages to their notes, offering a convenient way to manage personalized information about specific contacts.
