After entering the Indian market in April, SharkNinja APAC has rolled out its first marketing campaign for India featuring actor Ananya Panday and her father, Chunky Panday.

The campaign features two products from the company’s Ninja kitchen appliance portfolio – the Ninja Blast Portable Blender and the Ninja Combi 14-in-1 Multicooker – in a couple of light-hearted films inspired by day-to-day family interactions.

One movie plays on Ananya’s joke that she’s “tired of chunky” – which turns out to refer to chunky smoothie blends, not her father – and introduces the cordless Ninja Blast Portable Blender.

The second movie is on the common household question of, “What’s for dinner?”, with Chunky Panday as the “Cooking Ninja” cooking up a storm with the Ninja Combi 14-in-1 Multicooker with several dishes including biryani and fries.

Family Appeal:

Commenting on the campaign, Mrunmay Mehta, Managing Director & Country Head, India, SharkNinja APAC, said, “We wanted our first local campaign to have personalities that would bring warmth, humour and relatability to the brand’s story. The natural chemistry between the father and daughter, he said, helps in connecting with Indian consumers.

Expressing her happiness to partner with the brand, Ananya Panday said that the campaign gave her an opportunity to bring her real life relationship with her father on screen.

“The kitchen is a place of conversations and shared experiences,” said Chunky Panday, who added that working with his daughter made the campaign especially memorable.

This is SharkNinja’s first local marketing campaign since entering India, and it is aimed at raising awareness for its range of kitchen appliances through relatable stories centred around families.

Currently, Shark and Ninja products are available via the company’s official website, Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.
