Former Coca-Cola executive Nikita Arya has joined Netflix as Marketing Manager – Film & Series, bringing experience across culture-led campaigns and brand strategy.

Nikita Arya has joined Netflix as Marketing Manager – Film & Series, announcing the move through a LinkedIn post where she described the transition as a meaningful step aligned with her focus on culture-led marketing and storytelling.

“I’m happy to share that I’ve joined Netflix as Manager, Marketing - Film & Series,” Arya wrote.

She added that her career across industries has consistently revolved around storytelling, consumer behaviour, pop culture and building brands that resonate with audiences.

“I’ve always been passionate about culture first marketing, building brands, stories, and IPs that genuinely resonate with people,” she said.

Culture-First Marketing:

According to Arya, joining Netflix represents a transition from working on culture-driven campaigns to becoming part of a company that actively shapes entertainment culture globally.

“Because the best marketing doesn’t interrupt culture, it contributes to it,” she added.

Before joining Netflix, Arya worked at The Coca-Cola Company as Integrated Marketing Manager.

During her tenure, she worked on culture-focused campaigns and consumer engagement initiatives spanning sports, comedy and food-led marketing properties, including Sprite Joke in a Bottle, Sprite Hottest Day, Thums Up Toofani Biryani, Thums Up Biryani Hunt and Limca Sportz Yo-Yo Test.

Arya previously held brand management roles at Adidas and Reebok, where she handled brand strategy, influencer marketing, CRM, sponsorships, media planning and sports-led campaigns.

Earlier in her career, she also worked at HCL Technologies in strategic marketing, focusing on employer branding, ATL and BTL campaigns, and communication programmes.

She additionally held roles at Audi India, where her work included integrated marketing campaigns, experiential activations, celebrity partnerships, influencer marketing and automotive product launches.
