KFC India Partners with Naagin Hot Sauce to Spice Up Menus Nationwide
KFC India teams up with Naagin Hot Sauce to bring bold Indian flavors to the menu. Available in over 800 restaurants, the collaboration introduces new heat with regional chillies like Sankeshwari and Byadgi.
In a significant move to bring bold and locally inspired flavors to its menu, KFC India has announced its first-ever collaboration with the craft hot sauce label Naagin. This collaboration is set to enhance the fried chicken experience with the unique and rich taste of Indian chillies, introducing a new layer of heat for the discerning Indian palate. Available in over 800 KFC restaurants across India, the collaboration brings Naagin’s signature hot sauces to the KFC menu for the very first time.
The campaign introduces Naagin’s two most popular sauces, ‘The Original’ and ‘The 65’, which showcase the richness of regional Indian chillies like Sankeshwari and Byadgi. These sauces will be available as part of the new Dipster offering designed specifically for the Indian market. These sauces are carefully crafted to offer the perfect balance of heat and depth, adhering to Naagin’s “seed-to-sauce” sourcing approach, which highlights the brand's commitment to working with locally sourced ingredients.
For KFC India, this collaboration is part of an ongoing effort to localize its flavors, ensuring that its offerings cater to the diverse tastes of Indian consumers. The addition of Naagin sauces to KFC’s menu aligns with the brand's broader strategy to offer more regional and culturally relevant products that resonate with local food trends.
For Naagin, this partnership marks its largest food service rollout to date, allowing it to move beyond craft condiment shelves into the mainstream food service sector. Naagin, founded in 2019, has built a loyal following for its focus on regional Indian chillies and bold flavor profiles. The brand has already made its mark in 500+ premium retail outlets across India and is expanding internationally into markets like the USA, UAE, and Singapore.
Speaking about the collaboration, Mikhel Rajani, Co-founder of Naagin, expressed his excitement, saying, “KFC’s scale and reach allow us to showcase the depth of Indian chillies to millions of consumers. It’s exciting to see flavors rooted in local ingredients come to life with a global brand that understands the Indian palate.”
The partnership is being supported by a strong digital campaign across social media platforms, along with in-store activations at KFC restaurants. This collaboration not only brings together two brands known for their passion for bold flavors but also reinforces the idea that local ingredients can play a key role in creating global experiences.
As this collaboration takes flight, it will undoubtedly capture the attention of spice lovers across India, bringing more attention to the use of regional Indian chillies in everyday restaurant menus.
