ISS India Appoints Gaurav Gupta as Country Manager to Lead Next Growth Phase

ISS Facility Services India has appointed Gaurav Gupta as Country Manager for India, effective immediately, as the company strengthens its focus on one of its key growth markets. The move comes at a time when India is playing an increasingly central role in ISS’s global strategy, driven by rising demand for integrated facility management and evolving client expectations.

Gupta brings over two decades of experience across shipping, logistics, and supply chain management, with a track record of managing large-scale operations and driving efficiency across complex systems. His appointment signals ISS’s intent to bring operational depth and transformation-led leadership into its India business as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.

Over his career, Gupta has worked across global markets, leading initiatives that streamline supply chains, improve cost efficiencies, and introduce technology-driven processes. He is also known for navigating regulatory complexities and advocating for sustainability-led operations, which are becoming increasingly important in facility management and related services.

His leadership style is described as people-first, with a focus on building strong teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Before joining ISS, Gupta spent seven years at DSV Global Transport and Logistics, where he led in-plant services and solutions across contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, customs, and real estate for India and the broader subcontinent. He has also held senior leadership roles at AP Moller Maersk Group and Bolloré Transport and Logistics, gaining experience across Europe, Africa, and India.

For the broader industry, this appointment reflects how facility management companies are increasingly hiring leaders with supply chain and operations expertise.
