IDFC FIRST Bank Launches AI Holographic Amitabh Bachchan Avatar

IDFC FIRST Bank has launched an AI-powered holographic digital avatar of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, setting a milestone in customer engagement and digital banking innovation. The Holographic Extended Reality (HXR) device features touch capabilities, enabling customers to interact directly with Bachchan’s avatar to obtain information about various bank offerings.

Currently, the avatar provides details on Zero Fee Banking, Monthly Interest Credits, Mobile Banking, and the innovative Current Account BRAVO. More products and features will be added in future phases.

The first HXR device has been deployed at IDFC FIRST Bank’s Juhu branch in Mumbai, with plans to expand its presence to high-footfall branches and strategic locations across India.

Developed in collaboration with Ikonz Studios, the device combines cutting-edge technology with engaging and accurate content. This initiative aligns with the bank's digital-first philosophy, offering customers a personalized and immersive banking experience.
