Federal Bank Expands Cyber Safety Drive with Anthem for ‘Twice is Wise’
Federal Bank has launched a lively anthem for the second phase of its nationwide ‘Twice is Wise’ campaign, aiming to promote cyber safety across India.
First introduced in 2021, the CSR initiative is run in partnership with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Its core message remains simple yet crucial: pause, verify, and think twice before acting online.
The in-house composed anthem transforms this advice into a memorable, foot-tapping tune designed for sharing across YouTube, social media, and live events, turning cyber safety into an everyday conversation.
Nationwide Rollout Across 17 Cities
The second phase will span 17 cities in 11 states—including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai—through radio spots, roadshows, school and college awareness programs, and interactive social media challenges.
Earlier this year, the first phase in Kerala reached over 65 lakh citizens in just 20 days.
K. V. S. Manian, MD & CEO of Federal Bank, said, “In the digital age, a single click can lead to fraud. Taking a moment to pause is our best defence.”
Rajesh Kumar, CEO of I4C, added, “Public awareness is the most powerful weapon against cybercrime. Informed citizens can prevent countless digital frauds by staying alert and acting wisely.”
With over 12 lakh cybercrime cases and losses exceeding ₹12,000 crore reported in 2025, the bank is urging citizens to act promptly—by calling 1930 or visiting cybercrime.gov.in to report incidents.
