Disney Expands Spider-Man Licensing With 26+ Brand Tie-Ups
Disney expands Spider-Man licensing in India with 26+ brand tie-ups across fashion, FMCG, toys and lifestyle.
Disney Consumer Products India has expanded its character licensing portfolio with a wide range of Spider-Man: Brand New Day merchandise ahead of the film's theatrical release, partnering with more than 26 brands across fashion, FMCG, toys, collectibles, accessories and lifestyle categories.
These collaborations include Bata, Bewakoof, Flipkart, Gritzo, Hamleys, Hasbro, ITC Sunfeast, Lenskart, Lifestyle, Myntra House of Brands, MINISO, Milton, Pantaloons, Pidilite, Reliance and The Souled Store, among others.

The merchandise portfolio encompasses apparel, footwear, eyewear, toys, collectibles, school supplies, food products and lifestyle accessories, bringing the Spider-Man franchise to multiple consumer touchpoints.
Tan Wee, Executive Director, Brand Commercialisation, Disney Consumer Products said, “The return of Spider-Man is a big cultural moment for fans in India and the collaborations allow consumers to engage with the character beyond the cinema thru fashion, collectibles and everyday products.”
Spider-Man Expands Across Categories:
Four limited edition Spider-Man packs with QR-enabled craft tutorials are launched by Pidilite’s Fevicol MR as part of the program. ITC Sunfeast Fantastik has unveiled themed packaging under its ‘Unlock Your Fantastik’ campaign whereas nutrition brand Gritzo has launched a Spider-Man-inspired variant under its Marvel-themed SuperMilk portfolio.

Spider-Man-inspired collections have been launched by brands in the fashion and retail space like Lifestyle, Reliance Yousta, Pantaloons, FirstCry, Bata, Lenskart, Bewakoof, Bonkers Corner, Myntra House of Brands, Flipkart’s Metronaut and The Souled Store.
Also toys and lifestyle products are covered by the licensing program. Hamleys, Hasbro, MINISO, Milton, Cello Kidzbee, Basil, Mirada and Bonus Playing Cards have launched themed toys, collectibles, hydration products, school essentials, plush toys and accessories.
Disney Consumer Products India’s latest move is to extend the Spider-Man franchise beyond the cinematic experience to the everyday consumer categories. And to strengthen the Marvel character licensing ecosystem in India.
