Cantabil Retail Revenue Rises 13% in Q1 FY27, EBITDA Growth at 21%
Cantabil Retail reported 13% revenue growth and 21% EBITDA growth in Q1 FY27, driven by margins and positive store sales.
Cantabil Retail India Limited posted 13% growth in revenue from operations on year-on-year basis for the first quarter of FY27 aided by improved operating margins, positive same store sales growth and continued expansion of its retail network.
The company reported an operating revenue of ₹178.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as against ₹158.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
EBITDA increased 21% YoY to ₹59.4 crore from ₹49 crore in Q1 FY26. The margin of EBITDA improved to 33.2% (30.8% in year-ago period) due to better operating efficiencies and cost management.

Strong Performance:
Cantabil posted profit after tax (PAT) Rs 16.3 crore up 11% from Rs 14.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. PAT margin stood at 9.1%, a tad lower than 9.2% reported in Q1 FY26.
The retailer also posted same-store sales growth of 4.04% in the quarter, reflecting continued demand from consumers for its products.
As of June 30, 2026, Cantabil had 667 stores across India with a total retail area of 9.42 lakh sq. ft.
Commenting on the performance, Vijay Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director, Cantabil Retail India Limited said, “The company has entered FY27 with strong momentum after delivering record performance in FY26.

The company’s Q1 performance reflects the durability of its business model, with healthy revenue growth, industry-leading operating margins and positive same store sales growth, he said.
“Over the last five years, Cantabil has delivered a revenue CAGR of 22% and PAT CAGR of 26% on the back of its operating model, sourcing efficiencies and focus on sustainable development,” added Bansal.
The company said it will continue to focus on operational excellence, digital capabilities, client engagement, and deepening its position in India’s value fashion segment going ahead.
Cantabil targets further growth while retaining profitability in FY27 with expanding retail footprint, product innovation and consumer driven strategies.
