WPP Media has appointed Jaison Dsouza as Senior Director, enhancing its leadership team in digital media operations and strategy.

Dsouza posted the announcement and said he was excited to take on the expanded leadership role and thanked the company’s leadership team for their guidance and support.

“I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been promoted to Senior Director in WPP Media,” Dsouza said in his announcement.

In his new role, Dsouza will continue to work across the company’s digital media operations, strategy and client engagement initiatives.

Digital Media Leadership:

Before this promotion, he was Director- Digital at WPP Media, where he led teams in search, social, programmatic advertising and ad operations.

His role also involved media planning, campaign optimisation, stakeholder management and operational process improvements.

Prior to joining WPP Media, Dsouza was with Initiative, an IPG company, where he was responsible for global operations across media planning, content marketing and digital advertising functions.

He also held executive roles at Omnicom Media Group, managing governance, digital operations, strategic planning and client engagement mandates.

Data-Led Advertising:

Dsouza has over a decade of experience at Infosys BPM, where he led large teams across digital marketing, ad operations, process transformation and client management initiatives.

Dsouza's expanded role at WPP Media will leverage his extensive experience in media strategy, operational management and performance marketing across search, display, social media, programmatic advertising and digital operations.

The appointment is a sign of the growing importance of integrated digital media leadership as advertising companies continue to expand capabilities around programmatic media, performance marketing and data-led client engagement strategies.
