Tanishq Redefines Modern Bridal Campaigns with 'One Wedding. Many Stories'
Tanishq launches its new Rivaah campaign, "One Wedding. Many Stories.," shifting the focus from traditional bridal jewellery to a holistic, bride-centric wedding ecosystem.
A Holistic Approach to the Modern Indian Bride
Tanishq has unveiled its latest campaign for its bridal sub-brand Rivaah, titled “One Wedding. Many Stories.” Conceptualised by creative agency TBWA\Lintas, the campaign shifts focus from traditional standalone jewellery showcases to a broader wedding ecosystem encompassing destination choices, candid photography, and cinematic storytelling. Inspired by how contemporary brides personally craft every detail of their celebrations, the initiative reflects a multi-faceted approach to modern Indian weddings.
High-Profile Creative Collaborations
Unlike conventional campaigns that build partnerships around an existing concept, "One Wedding. Many Stories." was designed from the ground up around the bride's personal journey. The creative world spans several distinct elements:
- Visual Storytelling: Renowned wedding photographer Joseph Radhik captured candid, detail-oriented moments set against the backdrop of the Taj Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur.
- Cinematic Direction: Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar directed intimate, character-led films showcasing spontaneous family interactions rather than rigid rituals.
- Regional Focus: Actor Anupama Parameswaran anchors the campaign for the South Indian market, tailoring the narrative to regional bridal traditions.
Capturing the Moments Between the Rituals
The core narrative focuses on personal relationships and unscripted memories—such as a bride reassuring her groom during a sangeet or sharing a quiet joke with her mother-in-law.
Speaking on the launch, Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer at Tanishq, noted that the initiative recognizes marriages as personal expressions shaped directly by the bride’s choices. Creative director Shoojit Sircar and photographer Joseph Radhik both emphasized an observational style, positioning Rivaah jewellery as a natural component of lived-in, emotional moments rather than isolated display pieces.
