POCO India introduces new brand campaign – ‘POCO Cameras. True To Life.’, moving the focus of smartphone photography away from technical specifications and towards the feelings and memories captured in everyday experiences.

The campaign is premised on the idea that a photograph's worth lies in the experience it captures, not in its technical proficiency. With the initiative, POCO is positioning smartphone cameras as a means of documenting real-life experiences rather than creating professional or highly curated images.

Emotions First:

Commenting on the campaign, Ken Sekhar, Head of Marketing, POCO India said, “The concept of this campaign was born out of the fact that the photographs that people hold close to their heart are the ones that evoke emotions and not necessarily the ones that have technical brilliance.

"When we look back at the photographs we cherish most, they are rarely the most technically perfect. They are the ones that make us feel something and instantly take us back to the emotions of that moment. Almost always, the perfect moment outlasts the perfect picture," he said.

“POCO believes that the main purpose of a smartphone camera is to capture emotions authentically while delivering the core strengths of the brand which are performance, power and value,” Sekhar added.

Everyday Moments:

The campaign emphasises the way students and first-time professionals use their phone cameras to capture everyday life, relationships and personal milestones. It has relatable moments like late night hostel conversations, first salaries, random road trips and time spent with friends.

The campaign also echoes how Gen Z is using smartphone photography more and more to document experiences, showcase individuality and save memories instead of just concentrating on image quality or technical specifications, the company said.

The campaign film is shot entirely on POCO smartphones and is set in unscripted, everyday situations to highlight that authentic moments make the most meaningful photographs. 'POCO Cameras.
