Global Sports, a leading sports management firm, is set to host the Indian Open 2025, a premier pickleball tournament, from February 3 to 9, 2025, in Mumbai. The event will feature over 1,800 players from 15+ cities, competing across various categories on 25 courts, with a prize pool of $125,000.
The firm, led by Hemal Jain, Niraj Jain, Divyesh Jain, and Suresh Bhansali, has been pivotal in promoting pickleball in India. Joining them as partners are Bollywood writer-director Shashank Khaitan and Yuvi Ruia, while Karan Johar takes on the role of brand ambassador to support the sport’s growing popularity.
Speaking about his involvement, Karan Johar said, “Pickleball holds a special place in my heart because it’s not just about the sport—it’s about the connections it fosters and the joy it brings.
