GHCL has announced the appointment of Joyeeta Mitra as its General Manager, Corporate Communications. In this role, Joyeeta will oversee social media, CSR communication, and corporate communication for both GHCL and GHCL Textiles, driving the company’s strategic messaging initiatives.
Joyeeta brings over 16 years of experience in public relations, corporate communication, and social media management. She spent nearly nine years with itel India, a part of the Transsion Group, and almost four years at Intex Technologies. In these roles, she demonstrated expertise in leading internal and external communications, crafting strategic PR initiatives, and significantly contributing to brand growth.
Her accomplishments include spearheading successful communication campaigns that enhanced brand visibility and reputation, showcasing her dedication and proven track record in the industry.
Joyeeta holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a postgraduate diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, further solidifying her strong academic foundation in communication and media.
