Crompton Launches New Geyser TVC: A Humorous Take on Energy Savings
Crompton's latest TVC highlights the energy efficiency of its 5-star rated geysers, using humor to address a common household concern.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has launched a new TVC for its 5-star rated water heaters. The campaign, titled "Crompton Geyser on Energy Savings Full On!", humorously addresses a common household concern: the constant worry about whether the geyser has been turned off.
The TVC showcases a typical Indian family where each member, from the busy father to the concerned grandmother, repeatedly asks if the geyser is off. This lighthearted portrayal highlights the anxiety associated with energy consumption, especially when it comes to appliances like water heaters.
However, the family's worries are alleviated with the introduction of Crompton's energy-efficient geyser. The ad emphasizes the brand's commitment to providing innovative solutions that not only deliver hot water but also help consumers save energy and reduce electricity bills.
Pragya Bijalwan, CMO of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., explained, "Energy-saving is a significant concern for many households. Our campaign showcases a common household struggle with energy efficiency. Our 5-star rated water heaters provide a smart solution that ensures efficient energy use, allowing consumers to enjoy hot water worry-free."
The TVC concludes with the catchy tagline, "Crompton Geyser On Energy Savings Full On!", reinforcing the brand's focus on energy efficiency.
The campaign will be aired on television during the India vs. South Africa T20 series and will be amplified through digital and other media channels.
Josy Paul, Chairperson & CCO of BBDO India, commented, "Our campaign taps into families' real concerns about energy use, particularly with crucial appliances like water heaters. The story humorously addresses the relatable 'Did I turn it off?' dilemma and portrays Crompton's 5-star water heaters as the reliable solution that eases this concern, combining energy savings with peace of mind."
