Caprese Brings Back Fashion Fete With New Emily in Paris-Inspired Chapter

Caprese launches the second chapter of its flagship property, Fashion Fete, a celebration of fashion, culture and immersive storytelling through an experience inspired by the changing world of Emily in Paris.

The event, held on June 18, at Sweeney in Khar, Mumbai, was a continuation of a concept that was first introduced two years ago. Fashion Fete was set up as a space to experience collections, not just look at them, so visitors could get to grips with the stories behind the collections.

Following the success of its first edition inspired by Emily in Paris, this year’s event took inspiration from Emily’s latest adventures, bringing a touch of Parisian culture and style to Mumbai. Guests were welcomed by a vintage Vespa and entered a cafe-inspired space with themed menus, Parisian-inspired cocktails and immersive installations.

Fashion Through Storytelling:

The latest Emily in Paris x Caprese collection was central to the experience, integrated into the event environment instead of presented in a traditional display.

Attendees enjoyed a curated selection of experiences throughout the evening including a personalised perfume station, a live charm-making counter and photo installations across the collection’s theme. Signature cocktails from Zoya Gin added to the atmosphere and guests were encouraged to engage with the experience.

Talking about the event, Pushpita Gaur said, “Fashion Fete has always been a storytelling platform rather than a product announcement platform. “The first chapter was inspired by Paris but the latest edition naturally takes the story to Paris and Rome with a confidence and sense of self that speaks to the modern Caprese consumer,” she said.

The evening, curated in partnership with Malini Agarwal, saw creators, tastemakers and fashion enthusiasts such as Divija Gambhir, Shereen Sikka and Riya Jain amongst others.

“Fashion Fete is a reflection of our philosophy that fashion is not just about what people wear, but how it makes them feel,” the brand said. The brand aims to celebrate confidence, spontaneity and individuality while engaging with today’s fashion consumers through the Emily in Paris x Caprese collaboration.
