Canva has unveiled its first-ever brand marketing campaign in India, titled 'Dil Se, Design Tak'. This initiative is part of the company's intensified focus on hyperlocal integrated marketing efforts to connect with and educate various segments of Indian users.

India, known for its dynamic creator community, has rapidly become Canva's fifth-largest market, showing significant growth in 2023. Currently, over 120 Indian creators are part of the Canva Creator Program, and the Canva for Freelancers community in India has expanded to 240,000 members. This growth highlights the increasing demand for visual communication tools among knowledge workers and freelancers in the country.

The 'Dil Se, Design Tak' campaign underscores the power of Canva in transforming ideas into reality, encouraging individuals from small businesses to large enterprises in India to harness their creativity at work. Whether it's team collaboration on projects or creating impressive pitch decks, Canva continues to lead in making design accessible to everyone—from students and teachers to small business owners and large organizations.

Through this brand marketing campaign, Canva aims to strengthen its connection with Indian users and boost awareness of its unique offerings. Chandrika Deb, Growth and Marketing Lead for Canva India, stated, "In today's world of work, effective visual communication is crucial. At Canva, we’ve seen first-hand how visual communication empowers teams to express ideas clearly, increase collaboration, and supercharge innovation. To demonstrate our commitment and build a truly local brand in India, we launched this campaign to highlight how Canva is leading the charge when it comes to visual communication at work. ‘Dil Se, Design Tak’ reminds us all that there’s a designer in each and every one of us, and our creativity can flourish at work and in everyday life, with Canva.”

The campaign, developed in collaboration with OML Entertainment, features brand films that effectively convey Canva’s overall brand proposition and seamlessly integrate product messaging. It employs an integrated marketing approach, with creatives showcased across TV and digital platforms.
