Bihar Government Launches ‘Brand Bihar’ Initiative To Boost Investments
Bihar government has launched the “Brand Bihar” initiative to strengthen the state’s image and promote investment, innovation and development through strategic branding and storytelling.
The Government of Bihar on Wednesday announced the launch of “Brand Bihar,” a state-wide initiative under the chief secretary’s cell aimed at strengthening Bihar’s identity, improving its public image and positioning the state as a destination for investment, innovation and economic opportunity.
According to the government, the initiative has been created to unify Bihar’s branding, communication and positioning efforts by highlighting developmental work, governance reforms, entrepreneurship, innovation, cultural heritage and citizen-led transformation across the state.

Strategic Branding Drive:
The programme will work with departments and stakeholders across Bihar to build a shared narrative around the state’s ongoing transformation and present it systematically across national and international platforms.
Officials said the initiative will focus on evidence-based communication and storytelling to improve Bihar’s image and strengthen public perception around the state’s developmental progress.
As part of the initiative, “Brand Bihar” will document and showcase ground-level development, departmental achievements, governance reforms and their impact on citizens.
A major focus area will be positioning Bihar as an investment-friendly destination by increasing visibility around sector-wise business opportunities and improving engagement with investors and industry stakeholders.

According to the government, the platform will also encourage collaboration among departments, institutions, industries, startups, academic organisations and local communities.
