Kaushik succeeds Amit Jain who has decided to retire this year-end.

Aseem Kaushik becomes India MD for L'Oréal

Amit Jain, who opted to retire this year, would be replaced as managing director for India by Aseem Kaushik, according to L'Oréal.

In order to strengthen his connections with important Indian stakeholders, Jain will continue his association and take on the position of Chairman for L'Oréal India.

With 30 years of experience working for organisations like ICI, Coca-Cola, Viacom, and Akzo Nobel, where he held strategic leadership responsibilities globally, Jain joined L'Oréal India in June 2018 as Country Managing Director.

"Aseem was one of the pioneers who established new businesses and created the foundation of growth for L'Oréal in India today," Jain said of his successor. After his postings abroad, I'm thrilled to welcome him back and hand over the reins to him. He is an entrepreneur at heart, and he will assist L'Oréal India reach new heights with his innovative leadership.

Kaushik has worked with L'Oréal for 27 years and has held a variety of group leadership positions.

I'm eager to work with such a bright group of individuals and continue to make a difference in the community at large, said Kaushik.
