According to reports, Abhishek Joshi has left his position at MX Player as SVP and Business Head – SVOD (Subscription Business) & Business Partnerships. Joshi joined the organization as the Head of Marketing & Business Partnerships in October 2018. He was promoted to his current position at the company in April 2021.
Joshi previously held the positions of SVP and Head-Marketing, Subscription and Content Licensing-Digital Business at Sony Pictures Network India.
Before that, he served as CEO of Zenga Media and Senior Manager of On-Air Presentation, Research, and Strategy at Max. In July 2011, he received a promotion to Assistant Vice President, Marketing, Sony Entertainment Television.
