Somany Ceramics Partners with Delhi SG Pipers for HIL Revival
Delhi SG Pipers collaborates with Somany Ceramics for the Hockey India League 2025, blending sports excellence and heritage to inspire future generations.
The Delhi SG Pipers, a franchise in the much-anticipated Hockey India League (HIL), has joined hands with Somany Ceramics as its associate sponsor for the 2025 edition. This partnership will see the ceramic tile giant's name prominently displayed on the collars of both the men’s and women’s team jerseys, symbolizing a union of sporting excellence and brand innovation.

The Pipers’ roster features prominent stars, including Olympic medalists Jarmanpreet Singh, Rajkumar Pal, and Shamsher Singh, highlighting the franchise’s ambition for excellence. Adding to the strength of the team, PR Sreejesh, India’s legendary goalkeeper and two-time Olympic bronze medalist, will serve as the Director of Hockey, while the coaching setup includes Graham Reid, who guided India to its historic Olympic medal in 2021, and Dutchman Dave Smolenaars leading the women’s team.

The Hockey India League, making a grand return after a seven-year hiatus, will feature eight men’s teams and four women’s teams, with matches scheduled from December 28, 2024, to February 1, 2025, in Rourkela and Ranchi. This collaboration between the Delhi SG Pipers and Somany Ceramics is set to elevate the league’s profile, blending sportsmanship and corporate synergy to celebrate India’s rich hockey heritage.
