Riteish & Genelia Deshmukh Join Pune United for Pickleball Revolution

The World Pickleball League (WPBL) is set to kick off on January 24, 2025, and with it comes an exciting announcement—Pune United, the city's very own pickleball franchise. This dynamic team is backed by a star-studded and visionary group of owners, including Bollywood power couple Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, corporate leaders Sudhir and Sunanda Mehta from EKA Mobility and Pinnacle Industries, and influential educators Ajeenkya D Y Patil and Pooja Patil from Ajeenkya DY Patil University.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Riteish Deshmukh emphasized the sport’s rapid rise. “Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the world. Its popularity spans all age groups, and we’re thrilled to be part of the World Pickleball League.
