Pepperfry, a leading online furniture and home décor platform, has appointed Shubbam Sharrma as its new Chief Growth Officer. With over 17 years of experience in the fields of retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel strategies, Shubbam has a proven track record in leading strategic growth initiatives and high-performing teams across various sectors.
In his new role, Shubbam will focus on driving Pepperfry’s growth strategy. His primary objectives will include expanding market share, strengthening customer acquisition, and enhancing operational efficiency. Notably, he will work on growing the Home Categories, launching new product lines, and expanding the B2B segment through innovative programs like the Multi-tiered Channel Partner Program. Shubbam also aims to explore new B2B opportunities with HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) and corporate clients, leveraging his deep understanding of the consumer market.

He also sees significant potential in the B2B segment, especially in building a curated platform for architects and interior designers to serve their clients’ needs effectively.
Before joining Pepperfry, Shubbam served as the Chief Business Officer at ImpactGuru, where he led growth across multiple cities while optimizing operations and marketing. He previously established CarDekho as a market leader in the used car retail business during his tenure as the Used Cars P&L Head. His consulting experience with KSA Technopak and RedSeer has broadened his expertise in guiding consumer internet and traditional retail companies on growth strategies, digital transformation, and market expansion.
Shubbam started his career at Godrej and has co-founded a D2C fashion brand, which aimed to offer modern and accessible alternatives in ethnic fashion. He holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering Roorkee. Outside of work, Shubbam enjoys researching consumer brands, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and staying energized through yoga and meditation.
