Netflix illuminates sky with 1,000 drones for 'Heeramandi' spectacle

The long-awaited answer to the trending hashtag #HeeramandiKabReleaseHoga (when will Heeramandi release?) has finally been revealed. In a stunning aerial display above Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Race Course, Netflix and renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' will premiere on May 1.

The event drew media attention and college students alike, who were treated to a mesmerizing sight as a fleet of 1,000 drones took flight, illuminating the night sky. Among the esteemed guests were the leading ladies of 'Heeramandi' – Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh – alongside Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions, and Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India.

As the drones choreographed a breathtaking display, revealing the series' launch date, excitement surged through the crowd. Creator-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali expressed gratitude to the team for their unwavering dedication in bringing 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' to life, anticipating the global audience's reception with eagerness.
