National Pride in Motion: adidas Unveils Multi-Lingual ‘You Got This’ Initiative Ahead of 2026 Asian Games
adidas launches its inspiring 'You Got This' campaign to unite India behind its star athletes, including Lovlina Borgohain and Sumit Antil, ahead of the 2026 Asian Games and Asian Para-Games in Japan.
adidas has launched its latest campaign, “You Got This,” designed to rally the support of a billion voices behind Indian athletes as they gear up for the upcoming Asian Games and Asian Para-Games 2026 in Japan.
The initiative highlights the immense strength athletes derive from back-home support, turning regional encouragement into a unified wave of national confidence on the continental stage.
Bridging Languages to Celebrate India's Diverse Champions
The narrative centers on prominent adidas-backed athletes—Kartik Karkera, Lovlina Borgohain, Sumit Antil, and Simran Sharma—capturing their intense preparation across their respective disciplines.
To reflect the country's cultural depth, the campaign integrates authentic messages of encouragement in multiple regional languages:
- Assamese
- Haryanvi
- Hindi
- Marathi
By weaving these local dialects together, adidas emphasizes how distinct regional communities across India stand as one collective support system for their sporting heroes.
Carrying the Glasgow Momentum to Japan
The campaign arrives at a high point for Indian sports following a standout performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where India secured a fourth-place finish with a total of 39 medals (13 gold, 17 silver, and 9 bronze).
With momentum building ahead of the games kicking off in Japan on September 19th, adidas athletes—including Tejaswin Shankar, Preeti Pal, Nishad Kumar, Niharika Vashisht, Damneet Singh, and Sarvesh Kushare—are set to compete across diverse track, field, and combat categories.
Focusing on the Joy of Sport Under Pressure
Addressing the launch, Bhawna Sikka, Senior Director – Brand at adidas India, underscored the purpose behind the narrative:
"Every athlete’s journey is shaped by the people who believe in them, especially in the moments when the pressure is at its highest. As our athletes head to the Asian Games and Asian Para-Games, we wanted to celebrate the many voices that stand behind them and remind them of what they are capable of. With ‘You Got This’, we hope to bring that collective belief to the forefront and encourage every athlete to step into this moment with confidence."
Through this initiative, adidas aims to help athletes silence external expectations, conquer high-stakes pressure, and rediscover the core passion that drives them.
