Nandini, a prominent Karnataka-based brand under the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), has introduced a ready-to-cook idli-dosa batter fortified with 5 percent whey protein. This innovative product is tailored to meet the needs of urban consumers seeking quick, nutritious, and balanced meal options.
The launch, unveiled by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday, marks a significant step in addressing the growing demand for convenient meal solutions among busy city residents.
KMF stated, “To cater to the needs of our consumers, we have developed a superior-quality, healthy idli-dosa batterenriched with whey protein, ensuring affordability for all.”
The batter comes in two pack sizes:
- 450 grams at Rs 40
- 900 grams at Rs 80
Initially available through milk parlours in Bengaluru, KMF plans to assess consumer response in the city before expanding the product to other locations across Karnataka.
