JKY Groove Launches with Gen Z Energy

Jockey has unveiled its latest athleisure collection, “JKY Groove,” targeting India’s young adults aged 18-24. The launch is led by the energetic “Fit Check? Checked” campaign, crafted by creative agency Fundamental. This campaign is all about celebrating Gen Z’s unique sense of style, authenticity, and confidence1.

Neeraj Kanitkar, Co-founder & ECD at Fundamental, explains, “Checking yourself out has always been in fashion. But for Gen Z, the andaz, the energy, and the language have changed. Our campaign captures this shift, blending timeless self-expression with today’s vibrant youth culture.”

What Makes JKY Groove Stand Out?

The JKY Groove collection features oversized fits, youthful cuts, and versatile staples like t-shirts, hoodies, cargos, crop tops, and tank tops. Each piece is designed for both comfort and creative expression, matching Gen Z’s rhythm and identity1.

Campaign Production: A Race Against Time

The campaign’s production was a whirlwind—three films and multiple static shoots were completed in just one day at a bustling mall. Director Smriti Thakur and photographer Allwyn Antony worked simultaneously, capturing the collection’s spirit before the mall opened to the public.

The campaign’s catchy track is already gaining popularity, with hopes it will become the unofficial anthem for “fit checks” everywhere.
