Indian football fans are in for a treat! The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Shrachi Sports and Sony Sports to televise a significant number of I-League matches. This move is set to boost the popularity and visibility of Indian football.

Under the agreement, a total of 338 matches across various AIFF competitions, including the I-League, I-League 2, Santosh Trophy, and Rajmata Jijabai Trophy, will be produced and broadcast. A remarkable 110 of the 132 I-League matches will be aired live on the Sony Sports Network.

This partnership signifies a major step forward for Indian football. By securing primetime television coverage, the I-League will gain wider exposure, attracting a larger audience and potentially attracting new sponsors and investors. This increased visibility will benefit not only the league but also the players, who will have a platform to showcase their skills to a national audience.

AIFF Secretary General Anilkumar expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it would help Indian football gain the necessary exposure. Rahul Todi, Managing Director of Shrachi Sports, emphasized the company's commitment to Indian sports and its aim to provide a platform for both male and female players.

With this partnership, Indian football fans can look forward to exciting and high-quality coverage of the I-League and other AIFF competitions. This is a significant step towards the growth and development of Indian football.
